Dr. Albert H. Chao, MD, is a Professor of Plastic Surgery in the Department of Plastic Surgery at Ohio State University, where he also serves as Vice Chair of Clinical Affairs and Program Director of the Microsurgery Fellowship. He is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, has lectured and trained surgeons nationally and internationally, serves on the Editorial Board for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, is a Castle Connolly Top Doctor, has authored over 50 peer-reviewed publications, and performs charitable work in underserved communities including in Africa, Asia, and the Middle East.
